What wood do you use?
All of our current pieces are made from live edge walnut. Each piece comes from a single slab with its natural edge left intact, so the grain, color and edge are unique to every item.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
No two slabs are alike, so your piece will vary slightly from the photos. That's part of what makes each one one of a kind.
How do I care for my walnut board or lazy Susan?
Hand wash only with warm, soapy water and dry right away. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher. Every few weeks, apply a food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the wood from drying out, and avoid prolonged direct sunlight and heat.
Are your charcuterie boards and lazy Susans food safe?
Yes. They're finished with a food-safe finish, so they're ready to serve on.
How long until my order ships?
Every piece is handcrafted, and most are made to order, so please allow approximately one week for your order to ship. Have an urgent order? Contact us, and we'll work with you to expedite it.
How much is shipping, and how long does delivery take?
Standard shipping is free on every order within the contiguous United States. Orders ship by ground from Prescott, Wisconsin. Once your order ships, use the map below to estimate delivery time in business days.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or outside the U.S.?
We ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico for an additional surcharge. We currently do not ship internationally, to APO/FPO addresses or to PO Boxes. For an international order, please contact us.
Can I pick up my order or get local delivery?
Yes. If you're near Prescott, Wisconsin, we're happy to coordinate local pickup or delivery. Contact us or email bompamarksww@gmail.com to set it up.
Do you take custom orders?
Absolutely. We can make custom sizes and shapes, and we take on other custom woodworking projects too. Share your idea and any photos through our contact form, and see past work in our Custom Project Gallery.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Because every piece is handcrafted and one of a kind, all sales are final. If something isn't right with your order, email us at bompamarksww@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, and we'll work with you to find a solution. See our Shipping & Returns page for details.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the item and its packaging. Please keep all packaging materials until we've resolved the issue with you.
